The next day came faster than I expected. It seemed as though as soon as I blinked twice, I was getting off of the bus and headed across the street to the campus. Normally, I would grab some candy from the convenience store next to the bus stop. However, a large crowd that had been drawn near the quad had distracted me enough to cancel that plan. It was supposed to be another one of those days here at Washington High….
Ashley, Nathan and I were sitting by ourselves, as usual, in the cafeteria. It wasn’t that we were that unpopular. It’s that we really weren’t big fans of all of the gossip and drama that goes down during period. Okay who am I kidding? We were very unpopular.
